i APOLOGIZE graeatly for being gone so long!

in my last post i told you guys about how busy i am and how i would try to make more posts, well i didn’t and i am seeing that running a blog and being a busy college student is easier said than done in my case. so, i am going to put a hold on the blog. i won’t be posting for a while. i don’t know how long though. if 1, some, or all of you stop following me i do not blame you at all.

thank you all for reading, messaging me, liking my posts and rebloging my posts. i truely appriciate you and i hope to be back here again making many posts as i did before.

College and Blogging

i have not made a post in a while, i apoligize about that. i’m getting ready to return for my second year of college, i  move in sunday so i have been focused on that and some other personal things. i have not had the time to really research things or try new facials and i especially can’t do that today because my street’s pipes are being replaced so we are without water every new and then. for these next few days i am going to try to do research on things and post them so i can have some new stuff up. since school is starting up and i’ll be busier this year (i am in a school club that i am now a more active member and i hold a position, i also have my grades to keep up and homework and a lot of studying) so blog posts will be really spaced out, but i will try by best to work on it.

to my follwers and readers: thanks for sticking with me so far, i hope you continue to :D

Fail: Sugar/Lemon Juice Facial Scrub/Mask

just now i made up my own facial scrub/mask. i wanted to do a facial since i have not done one in a while, but i could not use my regular facial mix. i didn’t use my usual facial mix because it contains olive oil and i have learned that olive oil facials might not be good for my oily skin. i wanted to do something quick and simple so i just mixed together suger and lemon juice into a paste and let it sit. the sugar was a good exfoilate and i added the lemon juice for something extra (i would usually use water instead). after a bit the mixture dried on my face and became a sticky mask.

after washing it off i found my skin felt better before i did the facial. now it feels dry and not as soft as it usually feels after a facial. i’m caning this idea. i don’t usually use moisturizer, but i might put some on.

i don’t recommend ths.

A Helpful Tip: Honey on Popped Pimples

in my post about the benefits of honey (http://tiny.cc/g6gi4), i added at the end that honey is also a antiseptic. it is good with healing cuts and killing germs.

so, if you pop a pimple, or happen to have a cut, put a dab of honey on it. i use to do this and it healed up very well and did not look very noticeable the next day. later or the next morning wash the honey off and do your regular skin care routine. (i would put the honey on it while i was home or about to go to bed)

it does not sting and is a good and natural healing agent.

howyoudoinjenny asked: your blog is exactly what I need, thank you <33

leslieknopeismyspiritguide asked: happy birthday!! =)

thank you :)

swollencheeks asked: Hi :) I`ve read it`s your birthday. Happy birthday! :)

thank you

Today is my Birthday

i’m 20!!!

shy-blume asked: you're welcome, it's nice reading a blog that cares about natural ingredients as much as i do :3 i've read your post about your skin being oily. my skin used to be oily as well, but ever since i started using rice water as a toner, it has made wonders to my skin. feels soft, smooth, and less oily. and i hope you do try aloe, it's good at moisturizing and preventing wrinkles. i spread some under my eyes to prevent lines.

we might have some rice in my house, so i’m going to try the rice toner. thanks for the tip!

A Helpful Tip: Make Up

as helpful as it might sound, i DO NOT recommend putting make up on acne to cover it up. make up clogs your pores more and the clogging and chemicals probably make the acne worse. also, it does not look too well.

now, i am not trying to judge or bash anyone who does this. we all have our own methods of dealing with acne. i myself have used make up to cover acne and it did not look good and it probably irritated it more.

i guess if you are going to use make up to cover acne, find out how to use coverup in a way it does not clump on acne and make it more noticeable.
